October 2015 Tracks

Greetings From the President

Greetings, everybody!  It’s the start of our next season and  I have to start out by saying we are a little under staffed this year but we’re doing the best we can to keep the fun going.  We’ve got some off season events coming up in the near future and we hope to see everyone out.  For those of you interested in saving a few bucks this winter Night Club Card registration is in full swing!  We’re also in the midst of putting together some trips but since we’re down a trip coordinator we’re going to change some things up a bit, more on that to follow.

I’d like to welcome back our  returning board members, and express my gratitude and appreciation on behalf of all of us for all that you do to ensure a great season.  As you all notice, we are starting this season by utilizing our website to broadcast our newsletters, I’d like to thank Kevin for working with us effortlessly to help us maintain and grow our presence. Not to mention the crash courses that he’ll have to provide me for keeping these post up to date and not screwing up our website, apologies in advance!

I would also like to thank each and everyone of you. I know I say this every year but it is our members that keep this club running, and without the continued support we wouldn’t be able to keep up each season after next.  It is with great hope and determination that I plan on keeping things a float with our club, to recruit new members, and evolve our processes to operate efficiently and effectively in order to provide you with great trip opportunities and create moments that encourage you to stick around for years to come.

Welcome to the 2015-2016 season!

-Kimie

2016 Trips

We’re down a trip coordinator this year and we’re going to change it up a bit, until that vacancy is filled.

Is there a particular trip you would like to go on but you want to invite others along to make it happen? Don’t have the time to advertise it or follow through with coordinating efforts?  Let us help you and sponsor your trip!  Email ChesapeakeSkiandboard@gmail.com Subject: “Sponsor my Trip”.  Include a write up about the location, the cost per person, and how many people you are budgeting the trip for.  We will review the proposed trip and reach out with any questions as well as kick backs for being the captain of the trip!

We have a limited number of trips already in the works…

  • Snow Shoe, WV – December 31, 2015 to January 03, 2016
  • White Tail, PA – NCC MeetUp – January 9th, 2016
